I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My father moved into The Hill at Whitemarsh. It's a beautiful setting on the former farms of Erdenheim. They have every amenity my father could think of having. They accept fine dining, theater rooms, and two pools. The nurses are fantastic. I can't say plenty about them being wonderful. They likewise have a ward where they tin go if they're sick. They're excellent with their wound care and everything. It's such a beautiful place that it'south like walking into a fancy hotel, and everybody caters to everything they need, and they sentry them and take care of them 24 hours a day. They're only fantastic. They have buses and drivers that volition take them anywhere they need to go. They but sign upwards and let them know. I'll probably go in that location when I retire also because it's beautiful where it'south located, and I am overwhelmed with how well everybody has been taking care of my father. I do non accept a worry in the world of him existence there. They accept and so many activities too, fifty-fifty for the ones that can't get upwards and walk around. They accept all kinds of things for them to do in their chairs, from painting to bingo, to fifty-fifty dancing and yoga in their chairs. They play music for them all the time and continue them moving, and that's the primal. Fifty-fifty though they're stuck in a chair or something and tin't walk, they are still trying to keep their bones moving. They're on elevation of everything in a higher place all the other places I've looked at. I've had dinners at that place besides and it'due south very dainty. It's similar a 5-star dining all the way. The price is the average rate that's going effectually, then yous can't get anything under $half dozen,000 for 24-hour care. Information technology's a good bang for the buck.

The Hill has gone down colina large time! Years past this was a destination of choice. I simply had to remove my mother from rehab at the Loma on 1/7/2018 due to the grossly lacking care she received. Staff was non complying with Doctor orders. Refused to shower the patient subsequently she was finally allowed to become one postal service op after a Month! Nobility of the patient was violated. She was isolated in her room due to a virus outbreak and the lights didn't function properly, the Tv didn't work etc. Simply horrible horrible care.

Life care doesn't live up to v star reputation! Mom has lived independently for years. She recently moved into assisted living, and was initially told she would be allowed to eat meals in the master dining room with the friends she has made over the years. However, the Hill is large on advent and doesn't want someone with physical aging issues in the dining room. It's bad for appearances and public paradigm. So, Mom is banded from enjoying the social connections and friends, trapped with memory care people, although her mind is still sharp.

The Hill is skilful, my male parent is there, and I know a lot of people living in there. It'southward a squeamish facility; the apartments are brand new and larger. The food is nifty, and the dining room is actually nice. They take swimming and a gymnasium, and they have an auditorium for speakers and lectures.

I probably would give five stars to The Hill at Whitemarsh, but information technology is very expensive. Even so, that was what I was looking for: assisted living for my female parent. It was beautiful. It had all the bells and whistles.

Driving into the Hills is the first glance of what is a cute community on lovely, sprauling grounds. Upon the bulldoze to the main buildings, you would simply retrieve you had entered an upscale over 55 customs! In that location are gorgeous villas and cottages for those living independantly, and in that location are other options for care as needs for skilled care comes into play. Many activities are available, and in that location is just most anything yous might want correct on site, including a theatre, a fitness center, and an aquatic area. The common areas are and so well decorated, one would call up they were at an upscale hotel. In that location is a feeling of course and upscale throughout the facility. However, putting aside the beauty and activites, let me address the care. This staff is far and broad one of the most experienced and defended I have seen in my travels in care communities. Residents come first and are treated with intendance, respect and dignity. A woman resident who had moved from a large dwelling house to come up to The Hills all the same needs to look her best, and it was hearwarming to run across her help willing to brand certain she was dressed to the nines for dinner. I was laughing with her as she brought in the earring from which the lady could choose. This may have seemed small, but to this woman who was used to a certain lifestyle...it was very important, and helped her through this side by side stage of life. It is not hard to see the entire staff puts their best foot frontwards to brand this community one of the pinnacle in the area.I would recomment this highly!

My hubby had rehab at The Hill at Whitemarsh. We were very pleased and impressed by the intendance that he received, by the friendliness of the staff, and by the cleanliness of the facility. It's an extremely positive experience. It was well washed, both inside and out, attractive and well maintained. The staff was engaged, professional, and attentive. I ate at that place in one case, and it was quite good. It wasn't your typical hospital or institutional food; information technology was freshly made and tasty.
